We bring fun and we create wonderful memories for our hikers. ✨
We invite you to a beautiful and medium hike in the mountains close to Brașov: Piatra Mare massif. This time, we’re going on a tour that combines the tranquility of the forest with the mystery of the limestone canyon and the impressive cliffs we admire from the trail. The peak we propose is open and bare, so it will allow us to enjoy the surrounding impressive ridges 
. And the mountain chalet at the top is warm and inviting for hungry hikers

📅 PROGRAMME
📍 Where? Piatra Mare Mountains (start from Dâmbul Morii and end in the same point)
📅 When? Saturday November 30th, start hike at 9 AM
〽️ The route: we will do a beautiful circuit, hiking through the fir trees past the 7 Stairs Canyon (if it’s open and if the weather allows it), up to the Piatra Mare hut and then to the peak with the same name, Piatra Mare 1843 m, from where we enjoy a 360-degree view of all the neighbouring mountains. We return to the hut, have a nice warm meal and then energetically descend on another path to Dâmbul Morii (in the same place we left in the morning).
❗This hike is suitable for active people with mountain experience and good fitness level.
Elevation +1000 m, Distance 11 km round trip, Level: medium❗
- waterproof hiking boots (no light shoes, nor sneakers please!)
- mountain clothing suitable for a winter hike
- head and neck accessories (scarf, hat, etc.)
- snow gaiters
- trekking poles (recommended)
- backpack (30 L)
- head torch (with charged batteries), sunscreen, sun glasses
- waterproof and wind-stopper jacket
- water, snacks, thermos bottle with hot tea
- warm & waterproof gloves
Transportation is not included, but if you need it, we will find you seats in other participants’ cars and you go car-sharing style. OR if you come by train 
, we offer 8 seats in our van with pick-up from Predeal or Busteni (we recommend train IR 11531 Bucharest Nord 06.43 – Predeal 08.37).
Food is not included, so please bring whatever you like to eat when we take the lunch break with a view, on top of the mountain. There is also the possibility to eat at Piatra Mare Chalet.
The price is 200 lei for a group of 6-8 people and includes
- guiding services with a certified mountain guide
- safe organization of the tour
- lots of fun during the day
- photo & video album at the end of the trip
