DESCRIPTION:		\n						\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n							\n						\n				\n				\n				\n									Hello hikers and welcome to the Carpathians!If you love wild landscapes, mountains and if you like spending a day moving in the nature and breathing fresh cool air, then this hike is for you.  Discover the beauty of the Carpathians with a nice and international group, guided by a certified mountain guide speaking English, French and Spanish. We bring fun and we create wonderful memories for our hikers. We invite you to a beautiful and medium-level hike in the mountains not far from Bucharest nor from Brașov: Piatra Mare mountains with lunch break at the cabin with the same name. At the moment, Spring arrived timidly in the forest but the high ridges are still covered with snow, so they look spectacular! You shouldn’t miss that!  So tell your friends (expats or Romanians) and join us! 								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n			\n		\n						\n				\n				\n				\n					📅 PROGRAMME				\n				\n				\n				\n									📍 Where? Piatra Mare mountains (meeting in Dambul Morii or Brașov – we will send the exact pinpoint after registration)📅 When? Sunday May 17th〽️ The route  goes firstly along an easy forest trail, next to a beautiful creek and passes through a canyon which we can visit if it’s open. After a steady climb, we make it to a plateau where Piatra Mare cabin awaits us. Once at the mountain hut, we will enjoy a warm lunch and a well-deserved rest. The way down goes on a different trail, back to the starting point.🔝 Distance 11 km round trip, Elevation +900 m, -900 m, Level: medium								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n			\n		\n						\n				\n				\n				\n							\n							\n					\n													\n															\n								\n														\n												🎒 EQUIPMENT\n					\n					waterproof hiking bootsmountain clothing suitable for this season and temperatureshead and neck accessories (scarf, hat, etc.)trekking poles (recommended)backpack (30 L)sunscreen, sun glasseswaterproof and wind-stopper jacketwater, food, snacks, thermos bottle with hot teagloves if it’s chillhead-torch\n				\n							\n					\n													\n															\n								\n														\n												🚙 TRANSPORTATION\n					\n					Transportation is not included, but if you need it, we will find you seats in other participants’ cars and you go car-sharing style. However, we highly recommend traveling by train on this busy road in order to avoid the huge traffic jams (train IR 1735 Bucharest – Brașov 6.09 AM – 8.41 AM; make sure you buy your ticket days in advance in order to find seats! Do not buy your return ticket, there are plenty of trains in the afternoon/ evening).From Brașov we can take a public bus which brings us to the meeting point. Whoever wants, we can meet at the bus station and go together (around 30 minutes by bus).\n				\n							\n					\n													\n															\n								\n														\n												🥪 FOOD\n					\n					Food is not included but you can eat something warm and nice up at the cabin.
