We bring fun and we create wonderful memories for our hikers. We invite you to a beautiful and easy hike in the mountains not far from Bucharest nor from Brașov: the National Park of Piatra Craiului and the remote villages. At the moment, the mountains are still covered with white ‘coats’ and they look spectacular! You shouldn’t miss that!  So tell your friends (expats or Romanians) and join us! 								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n			\n		\n						\n				\n				\n				\n					📅 PROGRAMME				\n				\n				\n				\n									📍 Where? Piatra Craiului National Park (start near Zărnești town, end in Bran)📅 When? Saturday February 15th〽️ The route goes firstly through the remote and traditional village of Măgura which is part of the national park of Piatra Craiului. Then we will go up through some pastures and among the haystacks, and finally we will reach a small peak, but the highest point of this hike, at around 1400 m altitude. From here the view is amazing 360 degrees around and we can admire the main ridge of Piatra Craiului and all the picturesque mountain villages that are scattered in the valley. The route is a historical one and your guide will tell you what happened there in WW I. After some photo sessions and fun in the snow, we will continue through a dense forest of centuries-old beech trees where we can find limestone fossils when we are lucky. The final descent takes us to the village of Bran where we can catch a glimpse of the famous Bran Castle, before we finish the hike and organize a short transfer to get the cars back (for drivers).🔝 Distance 12 km, Elevation +600 m, -600 m, Level: easy-medium								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n			\n		\n						\n				\n				\n				\n							\n							\n					\n													\n															\n								\n														\n												🎒 EQUIPMENT\n					\n					waterproof hiking boots (no light shoes, nor sneakers please!)mountain clothing suitable for a winter hikehead and neck accessories (scarf, hat, etc.)snow gaiters (if the snow is fresh and deep, we will let you know)trekking poles (recommended)backpack (30 L)sunscreen, sun glasseswaterproof and wind-stopper jacketwater, snacks, thermos bottle with hot teawarm & waterproof gloves\n				\n							\n					\n													\n															\n								\n														\n												🚙 TRANSPORTATION\n					\n					Transportation is not included, but if you need it, we will find you seats in other participants’ cars and you go car-sharing style.
